My special bracelet

    Something that is really important to me is a bracelet that my stepdad had given me on our first Christmas together. It was five years ago in Christmas time, that I opened a small box that had a really nice bracelet inside. My stepdad had told me that it was from him. I got so surprise that it was from him. Because I never thought that he would of give me something for Christmas when we just meet. And believe it or not, I still have that beautiful bracelet with me all the time.

What I’m looking for

The school that I would like to go is we’re they have art programs after school. For example, acting and dancing programs after school. If any school would have that, I see myself in does two programs. It would also be so cool if we had a lunch break longer, maybe like a one hour and 30 minters Of a break. If a school had its own auditorium, it would be much more cooler, that way we can perform are acts, and our dances. In the auditorium, you will see lights all over,  you will hear someone  acting or singing going on. That is what I would be looking for in the future.

Fish In a Tree

     The book that I had read was called “Fish in a Tree” by Lynda Mullaly Hunt. The main character of the book was a girl named Ally Nickerson. In the book,  she had trouble writing and reading. Every time she tried to read something, she only sees words wondering around,  Meaning moving around. The setting takes place in school, and home. The main place is actually school. A new teacher teaches  Ally’s class just some couple of months  until the actual teachers comes back. The new teachers  name is Mr. Daniels. He helps Ally how to read and write. Because of him, Ally feels more confident in reading and writing.

All American Boys

    The  book that I had read was called, “All American Boys”. The aurthors are, Jason Reynolds, and Brendan Kiel’s. And it is a novel. In the book there are two main characters that are called Rashad, and Quinn. Rashad was a tennage boy that was going to a friends house in a Friday night for a party. But Before he went to the party, he stopped in a store to buys some things. Out of sudden, this huge situation comes up, and it changes Rashads life. He’s all over the news because of what had happened to him. People stared recording everything, and it went everywhere on online. Everyone started seeing it and sharing it.  But, some people realize that what the person had done to him, can also see that the person was wrong.
     My favorite chapter of Rashad is towards the end of the book. Because, Rashad and all of the people are showing how we need to respect others.
      The second main character is Quinn. Quinn was also a teenager in the book. He ones in the book was hanging out with the person who changed Rashads life. He found out by his best friend when they were in the alley  shooting some bottles. The same night that had happened to Rashad, he was there. Quinn had a best fiend, and he would always talk to her if he has any problems going on, or just to talk.
    I really do recommend this book. Because it gives you a life lesson. Also, what happends in the book, also happends in real life.

Quarter 1 reflection

In 1 quarter, my classes were challenging. The firsts class that was challenging  for me was math. All the math work I’ve done in class, I sometimes didn’t understand it. I did asked for help, and I sometimes don’t because of my shyness. Second challenging class was science. In science class we talked about  magnetism. At first, I didn’t really understand what my teacher was talking about because there was many words that I didn’t understand. I think does are the only classes I struggle 1 quarter. One of my favorite classes are Ela, and science. In ela, we used, and will still use plt. Plt stands for “personal learning time”. For me that is a helpful tool for me, because I get to learn on my own.

My Reactions Of The Movie To The Book Of The Outsiders.

     The novel and the movie Outsiders have some differences. One of differences  is that in the movie, it started when  ponyboy  was writing his them for school. In the book it all started when when ponyboy introduce himself and writes about his family, just like a brief of it. In the book, it said were the rumble was going on. In the movie it showed that the rumble took place in a park with fire next to them. In the book, it said were Johnny was getting beaten by the man of the rings, which was Bob. But, in the movie never showed where Johnny was getting beaten. It only showed when Johnny saw Bob and was looking at the rings he had on. Toward the end of the book, Ponyboy teacher told him to get at least a C for a grade. Ponyboy’s teacher showed that he cared of ponyboy’s grades. Also, for ponyboy to get a C, he had to write a theme. And he did. In the movie, it only showed were ponyboy was writing the theme. It never showed when he was talking to his teacher. And when the teacher was giving him advices in how to get at least a C.

        The book and the movie also have some similarities. One way they're the same is when Dally, Johnny, Ponyboy, and Cherry were at the movies. When Johnny stand up for himself over Dally. Because Dally was bordering cherry. That part happened in the movie and in the book. Second, When Johnny and ponyboy were in the church. Johnny got hurt and had to go to the hospital. One night ponyboy and Dally went to visit Johnny. Johnny had told Ponyboy , “stay gold”. That part had happened in the movie and in the novel. The reason is because that part was important because that was one of the  last words Johnny said before he had past away. Third, after Johnny had past away, he had written a letter to ponyboy. Ponyboy read the letter. That part happened on the movie and on the novel. What also happened in the movie and on the novel was the rumble. It both happened when the greases were waiting the socs to go to their territory to start the rumble. Dally had joined the rumble because he said that he need it to be in the rumble.
       The characters from the movie where kind of off. Meaning they didn't act how did should of. For example, when Johnny stand up for himself over Dally. Johnny seemed to be nervous when he stand up for himself. In the book it seemed that Johnny was confident. Also, in the movie when Ponyboy, and Dally went to visit Johnny at the hospital. Their wasn't any tears coming out from Dally when Johnny has passed away. That shows me that the actor didn't act how he should've just like in the book. Dally in the book seemed to be tough. In the movie, Dally also seemed to be real tough just like in the book. The director knew that in the book, Dally was a tough boy. And the director wanted the actor just to act just like Dally (in some ways) That way the  people can know how Dally really was in the book. And see it in the movie.

My stepdad made my life happier.

     This quote represents part of my life shared with my stepdad. I meet my stepdad when I was nine years old. It was difficult for me to accept him in my life,  but my mom had the last word because she found the man of her life. So, I had no choice. When months went by. I realized that my stepdad had made a hunge change in my life. He gives me advices, he helped me with my homework, he bought me things I never had, and he took me to places I’ve never been. The first year we meet, he took us to Wisconsin Dells.  But mostly important, he  showed me what a real dad looks like, and what a real dad will do for you. Now, this quote represents me because I know that my stepdad didn't give me life, but he did helped me in life, and he made my life happier and better. 

My Identity

My roles in life is being an older sister, daughter, oldest cousin, and a stepdaughter. All of does roles are very important to me. Being an older sister is very important to me bacause I get to be a role model to my sisters and brother. And also to teach them things in life, and be always be thier by thier side. Being a daughter it's important to me because if my mom needs my help some day, I will be thier for her. Being an older cousin for me is the best Because I can also teach my youngest cousins what is wrong and what is good. Finally, being a stepdaughter is an important role for me. The reason is because I showed my stepdad how to be a father before he actually have is own kids.
   One of my important job as a teen is being dancer. Being a dancer it's important to me because that will help me build my career and my future. In the future, I'm planing to be a professional dancer. Then being dancer now will help me build up some more skills in dancing for the future.

      On Saturday I'm going to perform on the October fest. I am really excited for tomarrow, because  I had never performed in a fest. I'm going to perform two songs with my other friends tomarrow in the fest. I hope me and my friends do great in our performance.

Me in the future

      In 10 years I see myself finishing college. One of the college I have in mind to go to is called, "Southeastern Illinois college". After finishing college, I would start my carrear by being a veterinary. A veterinary is basically like a doctor for animals only. The reason I want to be a veterinary is because I do truly love helping animals in needs. My other big goals is to travel around the world. If I'm planing to be a veterinary, then I might have enough money to travel around the world. Later on, I would love to have my own family. I at least want two kids. I do really love kids, and that is why I want my one children's. In 10 years, I would also love to have my own huge, and beautiful house. When I do get my own house, I would love to get a husky with blue eyes. And if I do get the dog, I would named it Snowy.
        After i become a veterinary, I wold also want to be a professional dancer. If I cant make it as a professional dancer. Then I would just become a dance teacher.

The Attention I need it

     One of the most saddest  days in my life is when my mom and stepdad stoped giving me their attention. All of this started two years ago.
     When my mom and stepdad received their new child, which is my baby sister  Alexa. After Alexa arrived, my mom and stepdad started giving her all of their attention to Alexa. I didn't mind. But the problem was that, they stoped giving me all of their attention. I do truly love my baby sister Alexa. Alexa is very active little girls, she's crazy, and a funny one. I ones did thought that she stoled my parents love from me. But at the same time, I thought to myself that would of been silly of me thinking that way.
      My mom's behavior change to a fun mom into a serious mom. (But only with me). My mom used to give me her attention. Now she doesn't. Why? Because ones my mom told me that Alexa  needs more attention than I do. Ones my mom told me that she was giving me her attention. Either way, I still felt the same way.
      Now, my stepdad is a very hard working man, he's funny, silly, respectful, and a super active man. But, a day came when he also stoped giving me his attention. He used to pay attention to me. But now because he has his own child. He stoped giving me his attention.
       A day came when I really felt left out. It was a day in the afternoon when my stepdad left to work without saying goodbye to me. Tears started coming out. That exact day, my mom knew their was something wrong with me. So, I told her what was wrong with me and how I felt. My mom decided to talks about it with my stepdad too. I wasn't really sure to talk about it with my stepdad. The reason why is because I thought that he wouldn't care because I'm  not her biological daughter.
      Well, we had our whole full hour talking about my situation. I told my both parents what was wrong with me and how I felt. My both parents told me that they do give me there whole attention, but because Alexa is still a baby. She needs the attention too. Then it made me realized that my baby sisters needs the attention too just like I do.
